Chicken Island, Krabi
Chicken Island got its name from a bizarre rock spire formation which resembles the head of a chicken. This island consists of steep cliffs, while the other end has beautiful beaches along a peninsula.
It looks more like a turkey neck than chicken to me though. We stop here for snorkeling. I have to say most of the corals are dead and not much to see except a few colorful fish. Masks are provided.

Emerald Pool
The Emerald pool is a warm water crystal clear pool, 1-2 meters deep. This pool is refreshing. Have to be careful when walking on the edges of the pool. It is very slippery because of high calcium carbonate deposits.

Similan Islands
Koh Similan is the largest island. There are a total of 9 islands. The sea in the area has an average depth of 60 feet. Underwater it is full of rock formations and coral reefs in several shapes and forms, resembling such things as deer, leaves, brains, and mushrooms.
Above the water are found many diverse species such as the Nicobar Pigeon, Mangrove Monitor Lizards and more.
